cul de sac 047Comedians need to be looked after. Even with the support of a producer, or manager, it is a lonely job and success is entirely down to the performer. After all, they alone hold the attention of the audience. Of necessity most comedians turn up at gigs on their own. They convey their requirements to the in-house technicians and hope they have been understood. If they are lucky, the technicians will get it right and the show will run smoothly.

Perhaps your budget won’t stretch to having a second person, so Macrocosmic have developed a performance pack. For a one-off fee, we will meet with you to discuss the show’s requirements, compose a comprehensive tech rider and send it to venues in advance. We will give you a book written in the language venue technicians everywhere understand, along with sound files and a lighting plan. All a comic will need to do is hand over the book on arrival and the show will play out just as intended every time. Cues in the right place, at the right level, no rough edges. We believe that this will take the worry off the shoulders of the comedian, so that they are able to immerse themselves in preparation for the performance.

For producers of larger shows Macrocosmic will production manage the entire run. Once the venues have been booked we will handle all logistics, from sending out the tech specs, booking travel and accommodation, to accompanying your act to the gig, calling the show and finding food afterwards. We will cosset the act from waking up to going to bed, allowing them to focus on their material and give of their best.

Incredibly efficient, consistently professional and above all caring, compassionate and accommodating to the artist.
